Arrived in this thread very late but BIG CONGRATS!

As a side point, how funny are Antenatal classes? I went yesterday to my first one with my wife and loved every minute.
When else can a bloke talk about breasts, farts and poo with a whole bunch of women and get away without a slap, whilst also taking some twisted kind of pleasure from watching them wince at the pain they will all have to endure safe in the knowledge that he will be having none of it?!

And I got tea and Bourbons too!

Never bothered with them myself ...one of the things to do is look round the labour suite I really didn't think I'd be that interested when there funnily enough the decor didn't bother one bit Laughing

After birth I did not regret not going nothing really prepares you for when your there in my opinion Laughing they had gas and air that was me happy! LOL!!

I think I'd want the general anaesthetic option Laughing Then again, someone yesterday said to me that if I can cope with this toothache then childbirth is a breeze, I somehow doubt it Laughing
