Simple really grab you 2008 copy of the Thompson Local and then
1.Find the business you need that features the Nectar logo
2. Call the 0845* number in the add and enter the last 11 digits of your Nectar card when asked. You'll then be put through to the advertiser
3. 50 points** will then be added to your Nectar account.
*0845 is a local rate call so for a BT landline costs 4ppm but other providers may vary.

Collecting Nectar Points - Fair Use Policy
You will receive your points jkust for making an enquiry to an advert, your telephone call must be successfully conected to the advertiser - althoguh no purchase is necessary.
You will find the dedicated telephone number next to the Nectar logo at the bottom of a Nectar Advert.
Thomson Local can only issue you with points if you call this number to contact the advertiser.
Calls to Nectar 0845 numbers cost 4ppm from BT, other providers charges may vary, Call charges correct at time of going to press.
During the first call you can choose to have your telephone number linked to your nectar card, so that your account is automatically credited with points the next time you call a Nectar Advertfrom the same number. In a small number of cases this may not be possible, but most home and Mobile numbers will be recognised.
Thomson Local will not issue points if a collectors enquiry to an advertiser is not genuine, or they are found to be abusing the system in anyway.
Thomsom Local may amend the offer from time to time.

50 Nectar card points are available from thomson Local when you telephone any advert in the directory that features a Nectar Logo and dedicated telephone number.
If you call the same advert more than once in a 7 day period you will only earn points on the first call.
You must provide a valid Nectar card number to earn points
Points will only be issued on calls that are connected
You can earn up to 250 points a week and a maximum of 1000 points per year per collecter.
Your collection year starts when you make your first points earning call to a nectar advert.
Points are not available for searches on thomsonlocal.com
